Toddler

Your child is now a toddler and you wonder where your sweet little baby went to.  Toddlers are full of energy and wonderment as they learn to walk, talk and explore their world.  They are curious but love routine and repetition, which also stimulates brain development.  Toddlers begin to show a desire to be independent.  They can follow your direction and show preferences for food, people and toys.  This is the stage when they just love nursery rhymes and want you to read them the same books over and over again.  In this section, we will learn about temperament so you can identify your child’s own temperament and how this temperament affects the developmental milestones they need to accomplish.

Please click on the categories in the top menu to help your child with physical, language/literacy, cognitive, and social/emotional development.
